...the only UK web-site totally dedicated to providing free information on routes that are suitable for wheelchair users throughout the UK.
| We are currently in the process of developing parts of our site. This means that we will soon have a fantastic new design and increased functionality (such as better mapping, blogs, a forums etc). Over the next couple of weeks you will not be able to amend any maps that you have previously uploaded, or upload any new routes, however you can still access all the walking descriptions and current maps. Please be patient during this time - it will be worth the wait! |
The walks on our database have been tried and tested by wheelchair users, or those knowledgeable about routes in the great outdoors. If you can recommend a walk that you think is suitable for wheelchairs then please login and share it with us.
Walks with Wheelchairs will allow you to:
- Read reviews of the routes before trying any walks
- Download walk directions and detailed OS maps free of charge
- Share your own routes for walking with wheelchairs
- Add your own comments for others users to view
You will need to login to upload your own walking suggestions, or review any of the walks submitted by other users. Registration is completely free and very simple, it also allows us to keep you updated when new walks are posted in your area. We have more detailed search information here or alternatively just use the Quicksearch panel on the left.
